Description
This vintage tin friction flying saucer launching airplane was made in Western Germany.
The wingspan is about 9 inches and the length is about 8 inches. In gently played with condition with only minor scuffs and nicks, mostly near where the saucer spins above the fuselage. The tin lithography is terrific, and the toy is complete with the two saucers.
The space toy works well - the satellite is "launched" from the plane when the friction motor is engaged. It appears that one prong on the launcher was not bent upward at the factory - and maybe it should not have been. Either way the satellites are propelled off the launcher and if you desired to bend upward it would take no effort.
The box is poor due to the missing cover.
This would be a great addition to your robot or space toy collection.
